Meherana Guidelines on Covid-19For those of you eager to visit, the Meherana Board of Directors has established guidelines to safely move forward and ease the COVID-19 protocols for overnight guests. Individual retreat will be allowed on a limited basis and Baba's Cabin will be open to one family/group bubble at a time.
What are the restrictions? Face masks are now optional in most areas of California for those who are fully vaccinated. Please review the CDPH guidelines: https://www.cdph.ca.gov/Programs/CID/DCDC/Pages/COVID-19/guidance-for-face-coverings.aspx What's the Covid situation? The Mariposa Public Health Department announced last week that there are now a few cases of the Delta variant in Mariposa with concern that it might spread. It is being closely monitored and the following guidance has been given: CDPH https://www.cdph.ca.gov/Programs/CID/DCDC/Pages/COVID-19/guidance-for-face-coverings.aspx What can visitors to Meherana expect? Although we are easing restrictions, please be aware that COVID-19 is still spreading in this country and around the world, especially the new variants. Travel increases the spread of the virus and your chances of contracting it. Please understand that Meherana cannot be responsible if you contract Covid-19 while visiting and please do not travel if you are sick! If you do plan to travel to Meherana... Continue to wash your hands. with soap, especially before handling or preparing food. Also, if other guests feel it is safer to wear a mask and socially distance, please do respect their decision. Thank you! Jai Baba! In His love and service, Meherana Board of Directors |
