2022 SPRING SAHAVAS

Picture
Anil & Vijayasree Nori, from the Seattle area, will share their experiences of meeting Meher Baba, growing up in a Meher Baba family in India and learning to depend upon Meher Baba.  Anil first met Meher Baba in February 1953 during Meher Baba's first visit to Andhra. Anil's mother, Seetha Devi, heard about Meher Baba in the late 1940s/early 1950s and met Him in 1953 and 1954. Meher Baba visited Seetha Devi's family house in Machilipatnam and Anil had Meher Baba's darshan (blessing) on several occasions whenever Meher Baba allowed His lovers to come to Guruprasad, Pune.

Adrienne Shamszad is a singer-songwriter, culture preserver and teaching artist from the SF Bay Area. She sings revolutionary anthems, prayerful power ballads, blues, lullabies, and love songs in English and in Farsi. She released her debut album "A New Life" in 2008 and has been a favorite at Baba gatherings ever since.

Kai Slemenda
“I taught myself the guitar as a teenager and began singing and writing around the same time - around this period, I was fortunate enough to attend the Youth Sahavas program, and have visited the Center twice since then. In 2016, I took a pilgrimage to India and made wonderful musical and spiritual connections there."
